These recording by perhaps the greatest dance band ever revolve around the theme of pin-up girls. A subject very popular with the soldiers of the period separated from their loved ones. Tracks one thru sixteen feature the original civilian Glenn Miller Orchestra. Tracks seventeen thru twenty one feature The Glenn Miller Army Air forces Band (American Band Of The AEF) and the last three tracks feature The Glenn Miller Orchestra under the leadership of Tex Beneke.
