Veteran record store man John McCord finds he can write some good songs - humorous (Hillbilly Disability), philosophical (Rolling The Dice), tender (Will You Be Mine), or just plain catchy (Big Bopper's Bones). All are well crafter, heartfelt and they swing. Add wondrous pedal steel from Bobby Black (Commander Cody), marvelous fiddle by Tony Marcus (Cheap Suit Serenaders) and tasty guitar from Producer Johnny Harper to the engaging vocals by John McCord, and you too can get as down home as you can be.
