Espuma picks up where Mania Phase (Gravity #41) left an).elements of dub, more electronics, ambient drone, free jazz, repetition, and avant experimentation. The end result is an exiting release with Tristeza exploring further their unique, hauntingly beautiful music. Tristeza is a San Diego, CA band with LPs on Makoto and Tiger Style, a previous EP on Gravity and other 7"s. Various members were in notable San Diego bands like Crimson Curse, James Lavelle is also in the band The Album Leaf.
