"Driftwood (the 309 Sessions)" is the follow up album to Richard Lindgren's previous critically acclaimed release entitled "Grace" which was his fifth studio album. In 2012 Richard received a songwriter award from the "Live at Heart" organization. "Live at Heart" is not only Sweden's biggest music festival, it's also the biggest showcase in northern Europe. A little time later after a one week stay at a nice hotel to write some new songs and a few days in a studio to record here's the result. "Driftwood (the 309 Sessions)" is a beautiful collection of six new originals and includes the traditional folk song "I Wish I Had Someone To Love Me" and a take of the Mississippi John Hurt classic "Make Me A Pallet".
