A long overdue first-ever CD release for the 1975 debut album by Memphis' premier soul harmony group, and the only other act to be signed to Isaac Hayes' short-lived Hot Buttered Soul label beside Ike. The album spawned two R&B chart hits: 'The Traveling Man' and their sensual revival of the Shirelles' 'Baby It's You'; ballad successes at a time when disco was increasingly becoming the major force in black music. The whole album can be seen as something of an extension of Isaac Hayes' own recordings. He arranged, conducted and produced it, as well as playing keyboards and using his own band the Movement as the session musicians.
