Link Wray's "Early Recordings" was first issued by Chiswick in 1978. It features 14 tracks recorded for Swan Records, including a remake of 'Rumble'. Housed in Phil Smee's iconic sleeve, it is the perfect introduction to Link. As a bonus we also include the first CD release for 1978's "Good Rockin' Tonight" LP, which contains a further 13 Swan tracks plus the original recordings of 'Rumble' and 'The Swag'. The extensive notes are shared between three writers. Fan Jon Savage's introduction is followed by Ace founder Ted Carroll's memories of Link. Linkwray.com supremo Greg Laxton supplies the inside leg measurements.
