"Blue Departure" is Peder af Ugglas's fifth solo album and it consolidates his position as one of the most interesting and distinctive musicians and composers of today. His instrumental music moves seamlessly between blues, country, rock, jazz and Swedish folk music. Peder's slide guitar is still his trademark, but the "Blue Departure" he also plays piano, organ, bass, drums and percussion. On some tracks he gets the help he among other things, their Yonder colleagues Mats Qwarfordt and Mats Persson. In addition to his solo career and involvement in Yonder, Peder af Uggla has a solid resume as a musician and producer.
