"Do That Thing" is the first of two Frog volumes of recordings made by Fletcher Henderson & His Orchestra’ for the Vocalion and Pathé labels, presented in sublime sound quality. The recordings in this volume were made between March 1924 and April 1925, and feature a nucleus of solid musicians from the early jazz age, including rising stars like Coleman Hawkins and Louis Armstrong alongside other players who would slip into obscurity later.
