Inspired by Ray Charles' Modern Sounds In Country And Western Music, Timi Yuro's soulful 1963 recordings saw The Little Girl With The Big Voice take on the Nashville sound. Putting her inimitable stamp on a clutch of Country and Western classics, the resulting album Make The World Go Away also featured the first ever recordings of several numbers composed by Willie Nelson and Hank Cochran. Reissued on CD for the first time, the original album (including the hit title single) features here alongside outtakes and non-LP singles, making this a comprehensive collection of Timi's 1960s Country sessions.
