'She Wrote It, I Read It' by Junior McCants only exists on a handful (or less!) of King demos and is the flip of his Northern Soul dancer 'Try Me For Your New Love'. The highly talented singer, who died tragically early, wails his heart out on a magnificent Deep Soul ballad written and produced by his mentor Charles Spurling. The flip is from the same stable but recorded in the southern US by Johnny Soul and produced by Macon, Georgia-based Bobby Smith. It is very influenced by another son of Macon, Otis Redding - in the best possible way.
