It should come as no surprise to anyone, as to the number of songs that have been written about roses, whether they be the real thing or descriptive of a ladies charms. On this CD we have gathered together an ensemble collection of such songs performed by a galaxy of stars most of whom were the original artists who brought these rosie songs to fame, Some of these songs are taken from rare and previously unissued “live” recordings. The nature of this CD follows in the tradition of our popular series “The Best Years Of Our Lives”, which similarly brings together a collection of evocative period songs, and as such we hope you will enjoy “A Roomful Of Roses”.
