The recordings on this CD represent the period when Sinatra had left the great Tommy Dorsey orchestra taking with him fellow band member Axel Stordahl who immediately set up his own orchestra specifically to accompany Sinatra as a solo performer. Mark Warnow was the elder brother of of composer and band leader Raymond Scott. He was the musical director of CBS during the early thirties. He was a prolific broadcaster and during the forties would come to conduct and arrange for Frank Sinatra many of the recordings they made together can be heard on CD, which we hope you enjoy.
