Kicking off with a couple of tracks that escaped from the first CD (CCS 5091), among the exciting tracks that follow them are Oh Baby and You'd Better Watch Yourself (both #8 in 1954), Last Night (#6, 1954), the influential My Babe (#1, 1955) and the Bo Diddley-penned Roller Coaster (#6, 1955). My Babe and, to a lesser extent, the similarly groovy Mellow Down Easy would be eagerly covered by white rock 'n' roll artists later in the decade.
