This is the third self-produced album by Algerian Berber (Amazigh) singer/songwriter Moh Alileche. The CD, which was recorded entirely in the Kabylia region of Algeria in September of 2004, carries an important message elevating awareness about the culture of the ancient, native people of North Africa, the Imazighen, "free people." The nine track album was put togther by many well-known musicians and Bazu, one of the best-known arrangers in Algeria. All songs are translated into English. Instrumentation includes, mondol, banjo, guitar, bass, ud, piano, flute, ney, violin, oboe, large North African drums and percussion.
